Our client has asked us if we could assist them during the pre-FID phase of their offshore Project by seconding 3 engineers (see below) in the Project Management Team located in Houston , from August 2010 to February 2011 (7 months). These engineers should be willing to continue on the project when it moves to Nigeria for the EPCI phase. SubSea PipeLine (SSPL) Engineers – Reviews, evaluates and provides critical input into the evaluation of design, procurement, inspection, testing, installation, commissioning, etc. of the SSPL systems as submitted by the tenderers. This position will also have responsibility for working with the Pipeline Safety, Construction & Installation Manager to address interface issues with OW/ON Works as well as assisting with any pipeline issues with respect to the OW tender evaluation.  
Marine Structural Engineers
– Reviews, evaluates and provides critical input into the evaluation of the design, procurement, fabrication, inspection, testing, and installation of all structures. This position will also have responsibility to assist with structural issues with respect to the SSPL tender evaluation.  
Offshore Works (OW) Installation Engineers
– Reviews, evaluates and provides critical input into the evaluation of the design, selection of marine equipment for load-out, transportation and installation of all marine structures and packages. This position will also have responsibility to assist with logistics, transportation and installation issues with respect to the SSPL tender evaluation. Houston salary range would probably be $70 to $85/hour.
Project scope of work: Includes 10 pipelines and power/control lines, including two 8 km x 30 inch Pipe-in-Pipe in Pipe for cryogenic transport. Offshore Field Development and Subsea Facilities/Systems Engineer with strong, broad knowledge of field development planning issues and how they inter-relate; extensive subsea hardware knowledge; subsea system integration experience at a conceptual design / feed level; on-site fat/sit experience.
